- Children attend assembly everyday where they learn about festivals, celebrations, faiths around the world as well as keeping in touch with current affairs. Friday assemblies is a ‘Shining Star Assembly’ where we celebrate children's achievements from the week.
- Phonics is taught daily across key stage 1.
- At breaktime and lunchtime children have the opportunity to take part in organised games on the playground, free play and access our ICT suite.
- At the end of the school day each class is read to by their teacher to instill the love of reading and getting lost in a story together.
